Newly Published Research! #WorldMentalHealthDay

Updated: Dec 5, 2020

In recognition of the upcoming World Mental Health Day and Mental Illness Awareness Week, we hope to share some recently published science from our group.

The pitfalls and realities are that we are on the search for a cure and improving best practices in evidence-based treatment; sometimes we advance treatment and sometimes we fall short. Dr. Kelly from our team published new guidelines for antipsychotic blood levels published as a consortium with international leaders in schizophrenia. Our team has also recently published work examining ways to more easily get blood levels for clozapine at the point of care. These advances are exciting and help pave the wave for better optimization of treatment in schizophrenia.

Check out the links below for more information and stay tuned for an additional publication on point of care monitoring with clozapine. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MIAW2020
